Yin Yoga- Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga, incorporating principles of traditional Chinese medicine, with asanas that are held for longer periods of time than in other yoga styles.
Sound Healing- Sound healing is a therapeutic practice that uses sound vibrations from instruments like singing bowls, gongs, and chimes to promote relaxation and healing. It aims to balance the body, mind, and spirit, often leading to reduced stress and improved emotional well-being.
Healing with Crystals- is an alternative therapy that uses crystals and gemstones to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Practitioners use stones to channel healing energy and help balance the body's energy centers.
Shadow Work- Shadow work is the process of exploring and integrating the unconscious parts of your personality, including repressed emotions, fears, and desires, to foster personal growth and healing. It helps you understand yourself better and can improve your relationships by addressing hidden aspects of your psyche.
Somatic Yoga- Somatic yoga is a practice that combines traditional yoga with somatics, focusing on the internal experience of movement rather than achieving perfect poses. It emphasizes body awareness, mindfulness, and the sensations of movement to foster a deeper connection between the mind and body- thus supporting nervous system regulation.
Nervous System Regulation - This is the process by which the nervous system maintains balance and responds to stressors, ensuring that the sympathetic (fight-or-flight) and parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) systems work in harmony. This regulation is crucial for emotional balance and effective responses to stress, helping individuals achieve a state of calm and well-being.
Herbalism- Herbalism healing refers to the practice of using plants and plant-based substances for therapeutic purposes to support health and treat illness.
Reiki & Energy Healing- Reiki is a form of energy healing that involves a practitioner channeling "universal life force energy" to promote relaxation and healing, often through light touch or by hovering their hands over the client. It is based on the belief that energy flows through all living things and can become blocked, leading to physical or emotional issues.
Naturopathy- Naturopathy, or naturopathic medicine, is a form of alternative medicine that focuses on natural remedies and the body's ability to heal itself. It combines various treatments, including dietary changes, herbal medicine, and stress management, to address the root causes of health issues rather than just alleviating symptoms.
Cacao Ceremony- A cacao ceremony is a gathering where participants consume ceremonial-grade cacao, often in a communal setting, to promote emotional healing, spiritual connection, and personal reflection. It typically involves setting intentions, meditation, and sometimes music or movement, drawing from ancient Mesoamerican traditions.
Meditation- Meditation for healing is a practice that combines mindfulness, breathwork, and visualization techniques to promote emotional and physical recovery. It aims to reduce stress and foster a sense of inner peace, helping the body activate its natural healing mechanisms.
Food as Medicine- "Food as medicine" refers to the concept of using food and diet as a primary means to prevent, manage, or treat health conditions, emphasizing the importance of whole, minimally processed foods in promoting health and well-being. This approach integrates nutrition into healthcare practices to improve health outcomes and reduce reliance on pharmaceuticals.
Myofascial Release- This type of physical therapy involves applying gentle, sustained pressure to myofascial tissues to relieve pain and restore movement. It focuses on releasing tension in the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles and other structures in the body.
Natural Skin Care- Natural skin care uses topical creams and lotions made of ingredients available in nature, reducing reliance on synthetic skincare solutions.
Energy Cleansing- This is the process of removing negative or stagnant energy from your body, mind, and environment to restore balance and emotional well-being. It often involves techniques like smudging, sound therapy, and meditation to promote a positive energy flow
